Established in 2015, Dharmica House is an institutional, living projection of Dharmic principles, and a Spiritual, Educational & Development centre based in the United Kingdom. As such the noun 'Dharmica' is derived as an identifier of Dharmic principles. At Dharmica House, we focus on personally experiencing the Truth through daily living, practicing and observing of Dharmic values.

What is Dharma?

In simplistic terms, the search for the 'Absolute Truth' is called Dharma, or the Eternal Path. Dharma is the natural and rightful order and foundation of everyone and everything. It is why things are as they are and the path to the realisation of why things are as they are. It is a way-of-life, and one which transcends Religion.

Principles of Dharma

The basic principles of Dharma are:

  • Ahimsa (compassion)
  • Divinity of the Atman
  • Doctrine of Incarnation
  • Freedom of Thought
  • Harmony of Religions
  • Laws of Dharma
  • Laws of Karma
  • Unity of Existence

Our emblem

The Dharmica House emblem is a Shiva Trishula, which is also visually constructed from a Yogic position of two hands performing the Vayu Mudra whilst standing on two feet in the Tadasana position.

Our incantation

The Dharmica House iconic chant is the third stanza of the Shiva Tandava Stotram.

Our theme song

Also based on the third stanza of the Shiva Tandava Stotram, this theme song featured in the Indian epic film Baahubali: The Beginning which released in the year 2015 - the year Dharmica House was founded.

'Dharma is universal, is for the whole of humanity, and is unlike Religion which is a type of 'belief system' for the community'

What we offer

Dharmica House, as an institution, has access to ample contacts, resources, knowledge, support and services with alignment to Dharmic principles.

Dharmic principles in action

From Yoga and Sattvic well-being, self-empowerment and professional development, positive energy management to Vedic sciences, Ayurvedic medicine, cosmology and astrology, Dharma laws and political studies to an array of arts, crafts and activities such as classical performance arts, combat art forms, outdoors living to charity and community support organisations - Dharmica House is able to advise, instil, promote, support and advance on all the physical aspects of all the Dharmic principles. Dharmica House has access to only the very best clerics, Yoga instructors, spiritual advisors, astrologists, trusted professionals and practitioners who are genuinely and sincerely committed to Dharma.

Dharmic life navigation

Dharmica House offers services supported by the principle of 'Unity of Existence' - which perpetually encourages the unification of humankind with the 'Absolute Reality' - more precisely described as the Cosmic Absolute and Absolute Reality as the Transcendent (impersonal) and the Immanent (personal). Simplified, this principle promotes humanity's need for self-inquiry, gain of knowledge and spiritual awareness, and to seek the Absolute Reality through spiritually-awakened means such as a Satguru, which are all essential to know the Transcendent Absolute, but as too is the need for personal discipline, good conduct, active and positive living, purification, self-less charity, meditation, compassion and reverence for all forms of life and community, and respect for our environment.

Dharmica House is not a client business, and its 'Services' as such are not contractual-based.

'All the problems we experience during daily life originate in ignorance, and the method for eliminating ignorance is to practice Dharma'
